June 25/25

Div. 13 had a fun morning going through their memory books yesterday remembering all the different things we did and learned this year. I hope these memory books will be treasured for years to come.  I initially got the idea of the binder from my own son, who continued to love looking through it years later.

I want to thank you all for sharing your children with me these past ten months, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each of them, laughing and learning with them and watching them grow and mature.  Thanks also for your support through out the year with our many field trips, family reading, special projects and more! It really does take a village to raise and educate a child!

Our amazing Georgia O'keeffe flower paintings!

Report cards can be assessed through My Class, information was sent out in multiple messages on the portal with help and links!

Thank you to all the parents who washed all the manipulatives for the class, your time and work is very appreciated.

Whenever possible I hope everyone still spends 10-15 a day reading to maintain and strengthen the skills they have worked so hard, unfortunately it is very common for children to lose some of these skills over the summer.  I would highly suggest everyone joins the FV Library Summer Reading Program, last week I sent home the information.  It adds extra incentive for children to read!  Remember it's important to keep it fun and enjoyable!

Please note: All Primary Students next year do not need to buy SCHOOL SUPPLIES. Instead parents just make a payment once they are in their new class. Grade 4's however will need to purchase their own supplies.

Hope you all have a fantastic summer filled with adventure, safe travels and lots of fun!  Thanks also for all the generous and thoughtful gifts!  I feel spoiled!
